You may want to refer to the obituary when it is published. John was a longtime member of the Dayton Ad Club in all its iterations. He served as president in the 1963/1964 year, chaired a number of committees, was awarded the AAF-Silver Medal in 1992, and also served as club historian. As historian, he compiled a very thorough document about our organization which may be found at http://aafdayton.org/history.html. John served the Dayton advertising community honorably as a practictioner, volunteer, and mentor. He will be greatly missed.
