It all started 11 years ago when social media was the hot thing, everyone in advertising/marketing/PR/new media needed to know the latest.  As time went on, social/new/digital became part of everything, so attendees asked for the latest as it related to their overall strategy.  The committee is finalizing the speaker line-up, but we've had requests to open reservations anyway.  It says something about a conference when people have already started to register before the speakers and topics were even released.
