PresidentJason Farmer Synchrony Financial Jason is a senior marketing leader with over 15 years experience in marketing, product development, and sales. Jason received his Bachelor's Degree with a Marketing specialization from Bowling Green State University in 2001 and an MBA from the University of Dayton in 2010. Jason has a unique blend of client and agency-side experience, with contributions across a wide-variety of industries and well-known organizations including Ryan Homes, Evenflo, TimberTech, Lunne Marketing Group, Yaskawa Motoman, and the School of Advertising Art. Currently, Jason is Assistant Vice President, Advertising & Branding, for Synchrony Financial, the nation's premier consumer financial services organization and a Fortune 500 company. Jason has served on several boards throughout his career, including 7 years of volunteer service for AAF Dayton. |
Vice PresidentBrian Mercer Boom Crate Studios Brian has more than 15 years of industry experience as a marketing professional, cinematographer, and video producer. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati and combines a unique eye for creative with a high-level marketing aptitude in his work. Brian's work has received numerous awards including an Emmy® Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, more than 50 Gold, Silver and Bronze ADDY awards, and various industry awards for filming, writing, and producing. |
TreasurerJerry Jamieson Antioch Shrine Jerry was born in Dayton, Ohio and is a third generation native Daytonian. Jerry started working in the typesetting industry and eventually started his own typesetting company in 1980. In the late 1990's, the company evolved into a printing company. Jerry joined the Dayton Ad Club in 1976 and retired from the business in 2008. Jerry is currently the Recorder at Antioch Shrine and his position is responsible for the membership and the day to day operations of the office. Jerry also plays the Bass Drum in the Antioch Bagpipe Band and loves seeing what the people at SHC Hospital do for the kids is probably the most rewarding for him. |
Executive DirectorSara McCatherine AAF-Dayton Sara McCatherine has been Executive Director of AAF-Dayton since February 2002. She served as President from 1999-2001 and was Governor of AAF's 5th District 2004-2005. Prior to working for AAF-Dayton, she was an account manager at Eastpoint Communications, assistant comptroller at Clear Channel, and production director at WKSW. |
Board MembersAlesia Campbell Yeck Brothers Company Alesia brings almost 30 years of direct marketing experience to the board. Alesia joined Yeck Brothers in 2001 bringing a solid background in product fulfillment and inventory. As an Account Executive, she has a very “hands on” approach with her clients, understanding their programs from beginning to end is very important. In addition to managing several key accounts, Alesia runs Yeck Brothers' Fulfillment Department. In 2008, Yeck Brothers added the ID CardSolutions Division and Alesia has been running this program in conjunction with her other duties. |
Board MembersSteve Greenblatt Steve Greenblatt Creative Steve has more than 45 years in the ad biz (started as a cave painter using sticks and berry pigment) and is still having a blast! Steve has had his hands in almost every media channel, just about every client category/industry, and every discipline. Steve is ambidextrous (art and copy), strategy-focused, client tamer, and plays well with young talent. Steve's specialties include listening, thinking, challenging, and building. |
Board MembersSally McNamara Cox Media Group Ohio Sally is a Media Consultant for Cox Media Group Ohio managing and developing multi media campaigns consisting of TV, Radio, Print, Digital, Sports and Event Marketing. Sally has worked with various retail and business to business accounts locally and regionally for over 24 years for Cox Media Group, Cox Radio, Susquehanna Radio and Bloomington Broadcast Group. A few accounts that Sally has managed or is currently managing consist of Auto Dealer Groups, Department Stores, Kroger, Menard’s, Tim Horton’s, Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s. Sally was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and earned her Bachelor’s Degree at The Ohio State University and LOVES Buckeye Football and UD Basketball. She lives with her husband and two children in Bellbrook, Ohio. |
Board MembersRoxann Patrick Little Dirty Birdy Feet, LLC Roxann Patrick has 40 years of experience in marketing and advertising, creative direction and graphic design. She was the President and Creative Director of Designed Solutions Group for 20 years and created brand solutions for corporations that included Macy’s, GE Money (now Synchrony), P&G, Meijer Stores, NCR, Lexis Nexis and more. She's is an award winning graphic designer, with over 100 awards throughout her career. She has strengths in brand development and management, graphic design, web design and conceptual and creative skills. Roxann’s current role is as the Founder and Creative Director of Little Dirty Birdy Feet, LLC, specializing in brand development and graphic design. |
Board MembersDanielle Phillips LMG Danielle is a Senior Account Executive at LMG, where she's worked for the past five years. She graduated from the University of Dayton in 2012 with a B.S. in Marketing and Management. Danielle also serves on other area boards, for UpDayton and for Bike Miami Valley. She currently lives in the Oregon District and in her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and coffee. |
Special AppointeesDavid Bowman Ohlmann Group David was born in Dayton, Ohio, and grew up in nearby Springfield. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wright State University and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from The University of Dayton. David's professional career has taken him to small firms like Lucrum, Hafenbrack Marketing, and Ohio Financial Group and to large corporations such as Cintas, Relizon, and Reynolds & Reynolds, where he developed and executed strategies for business growth. David now uses that experience to help clients at The Ohlmann Group to create the future. David has been honored to win multiple Mercury awards from AAF-Dayton in recognition of excellent client service and he is proud to work for The Ohlmann Group, winner of the 2012 BBB Eclipse Integrity Award. David is also an accomplished presenter and public speaker – having addressed thousands of people at numerous institutions and organizations on topics such as social media, creativity, business, and marketing. |

Special AppointeesJim Hausfeld Ohlmann Group As Vice President/Creative Director for The Ohlmann Group, Jim lends his direction to their talented creative department. Jim has been an active member of AAF-Dayton, serving as its President for two terms and as a board member since the mid- 1990’s. He began chairing the club’s annual Hermes Awards in 2000 and has been its event chairperson since. In 2014, he was awarded the national Chic David Award from AAF in recognition for his contributions to the ADDY awards. For his efforts locally to advance the profession of advertising, Jim was awarded the AAF Silver Medal in 2009. He’s served on the boards for The Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio and Better Business Bureau. And once, in a moment of wild abandon, he piloted a blimp. |
