Maggie Nichols, who we had booked for this meeting, has the flu.  Presenting in her place is Dr. Ken Bloemer with "Finding Eureka! The importance of stimulus, diversity of thought, and minimizing fear in the ideation process".  The presentation is based on his work with Eureka! Ranch founder Doug Hall as well as Ken's extensive work relating to accelerating innovation and ideation.

Dr. Ken Bloemer is currently Director of the Visioneering Center at the University of Dayton’s School of Engineering. He has conducted innovation workshops for researchers and inventors at over 100 universities, federal labs, the US Patent and Trademark Office and inventor organizations in the US, Canada & Scotland. Ken has a broad diversity of experience in Fortune 100 (Johnson & Johnson), business development and process improvement consulting (TechSolve), academia (University of Dayton, University of Cincinnati), government (US Air Force) and his true passion – the front end of innovation (Eureka! Ranch International and founder and managing partner of Bloemer, Meiser and Westerkamp, LLC). Ken received his B.S. and M.S. in industrial engineering from the J.B. Speed School of Engineering at the University of Louisville and his Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati.
